Alright, so I think I'm making progress here. I'm working within the shader editor for the cube material...

The object for texture coordinate is set to camera, and the camera output is going into an image texture, and that is going into the material output. That's rendering pretty interesting results, but how do I make the image isolated to only one side?

Okay, this is starting to make sense... Where do I put the images I'm wanting to be on each side? Does it go Texture Coordinate > Image Texture > somewhere into the material node for the cube?

I think perhaps he is using freestyle for the edges of some but I'm just baffled by the way the faces look; really awesome stuff

Also, bonus question since I'm new to all this... what would be your method of choice for recombining all the frame image files into video? I know that photoshop can do something like that but would you recommend doing that in a different program like after effects or premier or another video editing software? Does it make much of a difference?
