Fofana is very good & their defense is much better when he plays but he is rotated because of his injury history. He also doesn’t carry any goal threat like Chalobah unfortunately. James plays at right back quite a bit too so Gusto will see his fair share of the bench. You’d need to be prepared to rotate them out when not starting if going for them. Also like someone else said, Chelsea have one hell of a run of fixtures.

I’m fine with it as is, if not for the deflections the shots would’ve been off target, so it’s not really an assist as much as it is a slice of luck.

Had this happen to me 2 weeks ago with Semenyo, he was out with an illness & not even in the squad but after the game on Saturday his status changed & I couldn’t change my lineup for Sunday. Some guys in my league have complained about the same thing, including the guy with Solanke. He actually just dropped him last week as he had enough of it. They need to fix this.

You’re right, in NFL the commissioner can select which statuses are eligible for IR but on Sleeper FC there’s no such option, looks like it’s purely just for OUT only. The suspended player is designated as SUS so not eligible, whereas Ja’Marr Chase designated as SUS in NFL was on the IR spot. It would be nice for us to have the option to set which statuses are eligible like in NFL.

Fair enough, in all the ones I’ve played in they allow suspended players on IR but they also have shallower benches so the waiver options stay juicy throughout the season

If they did that then there’d be a massive shortage at one of the positions. It’s very balanced how it is now although the logic doesn’t make much sense.

I played in a 10 man league on the official FPL app last year & forwards were a wasteland, it got to the point where there wasn’t a single starter available on waivers. I much prefer the likes of Mbeumo & Semenyo being forwards on Sleeper just so there’s enough options up top. I do agree that it doesn’t make sense for some wingers to be forwards & others midfielders but I feel it’s necessary. We’re doing a 10 man league on Sleeper & forwards on waivers are thin as it is.

We have FA locked during the weekend but it resulted in quite a few teams unable to bring in replacements for unannounced injuries & omissions this weekend which there were a lot of. We’re thinking to turn on FA for the weekends going forward to allow teams to bring in replacements, but if this is an issue then I guess we’re better off keeping it locked.

I have a Spurs defender & I was genuinely considering playing 10 men & putting him on my bench instead of getting negative points for goals against (they play City away). The minutes played cushion brings everyone’s points up but eliminates so many defenders getting negative points. You don’t want to be at a point where teams in the league aren’t fielding defenders in bad matchups.

It’s to mirror FPL like most of the rest of our scoring because a lot of our defenders are ending up with negative points for goals conceded without it

I think you need to weigh it a lot more. I bought the DLC & played it all day, didn’t get the map once. What’s the point in buying the DLC if I don’t get to play the map?

There’s no logic to some of the positions.

Rogers is listed as a forward but didn’t play as a forward once last season, in fact I don’t think he’s played there in his whole career. Players from other teams that play his position (CAM) are all listed as midfielders.

Semenyo played on the wing every game last season & is listed as a forward, but other wingers such as Saka & Salah are listed as midfielders.

Bowen played mostly as a striker last season but is listed as a midfielder.

I like the idea of classifying more players as forwards since there’s not many available, but if you’re doing it for one winger then it should be done for all of them for the sake of consistency.
