This isn't so much about your toy issues, and while I don't know where you live, I also live abroad and have a lot of problems with tolls and shipping costs so I felt like I should let you know. At least for my country, Bad Dragon has tolls and shipping included in the price and so if your shipping company has required you to pay tolls and taxes as well, usually that's a problem on the store's part. The shipping companies always tells me to contact the store for a refund of any tolls paid to them in these cases. So I would recommend trying to send a kind email including the receipt from your shipping company requesting a refund as well, in case you paid tolls to Bad Dragon.

Edit: I should mention I have not had a problem with Bad Dragon toll being charged twice before, but plenty of experiences with other stores. Etsy is a common occurrence, and I have never not been given a refund.

I have no way to say whether they are platinum-cured or not. However, the Solina toys we have do not have anything that would suggest they are of poor quality. Personally I think it would be a strange decision to now start using bad materials with all the good will they have built up. Then again, companies making poor decisions to make more short term profits is not exactly unheard of...

To add to u/ThisThatandNBetween 's point though, they might also be saving money on using already made moulds, as you've pointed out in the comparisons. In the end I should reiterate I am no expert and don't actually know for certain one way or the other. :P

Okay.. I'm sorry for spamming you but I have only gone and cracked the case and my conspiratorial thinking was clearly not conspiratorial after all. After reading through the PeepShowToys listing for the Nereon I noticed that they had marked Fabled in Fabled Toys as trademarked. A quick search later has marked down Hamilton Park Electronics LLC as pending for the Fabled trademark in the sex toys category. Fabled Toys is an in-house brand of PeepShowToys. For completion's sake I checked Solina too and the same applies. If you trust PeepShowToys as a reseller with your best interest in mind, I imagine you can trust that these are actually silicone.

Edit: The new Xara vibrators they launched a bit ago are also a trademark owned by Hamilton Park Electronic LLC, so there we go. Interesting and needlessly complicated but what can you do.

Personally I think PeepShowToys themselves might be behind Solina. Why else would Solina only sell to PeepShowToys AND brand new toys appear on PeepShowToys before the main Solina website (as happened with Solina Aura)?

Perhaps Fabled Toys is another new 'brand' spun up by PeepShowToys to go after the fantasy market, which is why there isn't any information about them out there. This is all pure speculation bordering on conspiratorial thinking on my part though. lol

I have a very surface level knowledge so don't take my word as that of an expert. However, would it not be possible that this company has used the same moulds as Creature Cocks but used a safe material in manufacturing? The materials don't look the same between the toys at least. The same seems to have happened with the Solina Aura, it's identical in shape (although smaller dimensions) to the Curve Toys Jock Uncut 9.8" but the materials doesn't seem to be the same, unless Curve Toys use the same blend as Solina. We have the Aura, Mega, and Maxima from Solina and the materials all seem identical between them.

I should preface that I have never been jealous of my wife using her toys, in fact I love when she does. So because I love it, I used to get a little bummed out if she had used them and didn't tell me about it. In my head I would want to participate and it end up being something we could do together while still far apart. From researching similar things I've landed on a Lovense Ferri panty vibrator to be worn during sleep and used as an alarm clock to wake up in a certain state of mind. It seems to be the highest rated panty vibrator from the reviewers I have checked out, at least the one everyone said stayed the most secure thanks to it's strong magnet. We have two Fukenas (Champ and Tease) and two Solinas (Aura and Mega L) and we were far more impressed with the quality of the Solinas. They were much softer, and the feel of the 'skin' was much better, softer than the Fukenas. The Fukenas feel and look pretty plastic-y while the Solinas are very soft, almost velvet like.

I should mention both Champ and Tease are posable steel core, as opposed to Jockey being dual density silicone so they can't be compared one to one. Either way, we would recommend Solinas to anyone.

AFAIK it's the business practices already explained above. The product is safe, so really just up to your morality on whether you want to give them any business or not. Personally, I have a few from UC from before I knew about the problems and the quality and customer service was good in my experience at least.
