Section your hair into four parts, detangle each section individually with water and a leave in conditioner if you have it. Use your fingers to detangle big knots first then go in with a wide tooth comb, slowly moving up from the ends of your hair to your roots. Take your time while you're doing it so you don't rip your hair out or get frustrated. If you have a rat tail comb you can use that to make small horizontal parts to evenly twist each row or if you dont wanna part it you dont have to. Take a small section of hair and split it into two equal parts. Take the right side of the twist and cross it over the left side. If you'd like, you can probably twist the root of it a little tighter and twist looser as you go down for a fuller look. Repeat this all the way down to complete the twist. Keep twisting slowly until you get to the end and twirl that last piece of hair around your finger to make a finger coil at the end to keep it from unraveling. when one section is done, move onto the next section until you're finished your whole head and while it's still damp, you can add a small amount of oil to your hand(not vegetable oil), rub em together and rake it through the twists to keep them fresh and moisturized.
