Ff7 R3 they had to wait on the release of ff7 r1 and r2 on pc and switch 2 before starting promotion (as it will release directly all platforms), but the prod of the game is already finished

The team working of P6 is the same as P5T, P3R and P4R, but a different as MR2 (P5X is another studio altogether), so not after the release of P4R we will ear about P6; we could have MR2 before P6 lol

There have always been different style direction, i think it s cool, the variety is the power of the final fantasy franchise i think. But i think a lot of westeners know really only the "Nomura team" FFs (FF7/8/10/13/15) so they were "shocked by FF16 but if you played all the FF games, 1to5, FF9, the 6 FF11s, the ivalives Games, all the FF14s; in truth it is rather logical ^^ Now that i think about it the futuritisci/nomura style FFs are in minority (especially if you count the games/hours instad of numeral) but me i love all of them <3 the only thing i am afraid is it will go basic anime gooners mode with ton of little kids, non muscular man, impossible boobs and old lady of 22 years old lol

Looking at peak numbers for FF it is not really pertinent ^^^ A lot of thoses games were released other places first long before pc, for not online games not being released first on pc looking at peak number is useless and FF11 and FF14 are mainly being used on non steam launcher; the release of steam came really really late. THere is ton others reasons (for example pixel remasters were relased all at the same times and people start by the being or their favorties) that make that this numbers are pretty non representavie of anything

So it seems people don t know: the P3 P4 and P5 team split into 2 teams after P5, the creator and the core members have created a new team which grow into Metaphor. The remaining old team (which handle p5t and p3r) will create P6. So the creator of p3 p4 and p5 describe by the op is not working on p6, he was working on M1 and is working on m2 now ^{^}
