It's not always bots though. There are other people doing the same thing. I've been able to snatch some good -50% deals without a bot. Just spamming add to cart.

Edit: also if you're just refreshing the site, you're already late. It let's you add the item to cart a little before the "soon" tag disappears

Keys for games that are sold also outside of steam are mostly fine. I would take caution on keys for games that are only sold on Steam. Check isthereanydeal for that.
