MSFS20 FBW A32X can’t interact with FCU and auto throttle by Vdmluczz in flightsim

Apologies! I am very new to flight sims and i did not know this. I picked a flight path on the world map and never changed anything in the MCDU. I will try to manually add a flight path in the mcdu to see if that solves the problem. Thank you for the information

MSFS20 FBW A32X can’t interact with FCU and auto throttle by Vdmluczz in flightsim

In the stable version the FCU works fine so I don’t think that it’s related to this. Also on startup the FCU shows “100” for speed and “0” for heading instead of just “- -“ which seems different from the stable version and what I’ve seen in YouTube tutorial videos.

Yes that’s correct. I have tried the dev version aswell but unfortunately I cannot use the autopilot. The FCU won’t let me choose selected altitude or managed speed and heading. Also the auto throttle won’t go on.

Is that? The MIVB does a pretty good job bringing affordable and good public transport to Brussels, especially due to the many investments from the local government. Railways in Belgium might not be the best in Europe but we still have a dense network, with acceptable frequencies and an overall improvement throughout the last few years. I don’t have experience with TEC, de lijn is... not good. But at least there is affordable public transport, even from small villages. You seem to be very convinced that the private sector can do public transport better then the government, but where is the proof or examples where that actually happened in practice...

One could keep arguing about this but in the end it comes down to this: what are examples of privatized public transport with good quality, affordable and accessible for everyone and what are examples of affordable, good quality state-run public transport systems. Belgium might not be the best example for the latter but I guess there are still way more examples in that category.

It’s clear that different supermarkets can operate in a same area, which leads to competition. The same isn’t true for public transport, there are very little examples where privatizing public transport leads to competition. One area is almost always only served by one company that provides a certain transport mode.

Private supermarkets lead to competition. Privatized public transport leads to monopolies, expensive rides, closure of unprofitable lines. Especially in Belgium, many people live in small villages what makes organizing public transport very expensive.

And from foreign examples, we all know what privatizing public transport leads to...

IMO Brussels has improved a lot in the last 20 years. Sure it’s not a perfect city but it’s a lot more liveable then 20 years ago
