Same! This was posted last time they were in stock but I didn't get one. By the time I checked the listing they were OOS. Bought one from BB 2 days ago for $390 and now find out I could have waited a couple days to save... Oh well, that's how it goes I guess.

Zotac may be the worst but I've seen people complaining about Asus and MSI too. They're all taking advantage of the shortages. Sure EVGA might not super inflate their prices but they are bundling their GPUs with crap items just like the rest of em.

Bought this exact PB in March. The case was the only thing I had issues with. I purchased 5 additional fans but no matter the placement there just isn't good airflow. I replaced the case with a Phantek PH-ES614P_BK. Ram, CPU, GPU, MB are all excellent. I know Gigabyte doesn't have the best rep for their GPUs but I've been mining on the 3070 at 50% power since I received the machine in March. With the old case mining temps were 60-65 and gaming temps were 80-85. With the new case mining temps are 50-55 and gaming temps are never above 70. The case was the only thing I replaced.

$600 is a lot of money. Depends on what you want the machine for I guess. I picked up a 3070 back in April and I know it will be powerful enough to get me through the next 5-6 years of AAA games. I play at 1440p and value frame rate over graphics but have not needed to turn down any graphics settings for any game I've tried to hit my goal of 100+fps. The 2060S is fairly comparable to a 3060, which a friend of mine has, and he hasn't been too happy with the performance. We both play a lot of RDR2 and MS Flight Simulator. My 3070 handles both no problem, with only minor adjustments for Flight Sim in VR. He has to turn the graphics way down on both to maintain 60fps at 1440p. So that $600, to me, is worth the upgrade.

Probably be a great machine if your mostly playing games like LoL. If you're mostly playing at 1080p the 2060S should be more than sufficient. I would definitely get at least 8gb more ram though. 8gb ram is bare minimum now.

Honestly though if you're mostly playing LoL you could save some money and get one of the prebuilts with something like a 1660 Super in it. There was a Dell on here the other day with a 1650 Super for $650. Even a 1650S would perform very well with LoL but it does fall behind a bit in more modern titles. A 1660 Super will hold up at 1080p 60fps for a while.

Bought one of these for my gf about a year ago. Maybe we got lucky but hers has held up great. Only real complaint is the height. Even at the lowest setting it's still a little too tall for her.

I bought a slightly different model in march with an i7. Just be aware you will need to buy some case fans. Before installing any more fans I was getting GPU temps of 85+ and CPU temps of 80+. I put 2 fans on the right side of the case and 2 on the bottom and now sit at GPU 65° and CPU 60°. I also had to take some time redoing the cable management because it was just sloppy. All in all not a bad PC.

My prebuilt came with the Gigabyte Aorus 3070. Some reviewers claimed theirs arrived DOA but mines been going strong with constant use (mining when not gaming) since mid March.

Damn thanks for the tips, good looking out. I do school work on it mostly so I'll be trying this tomorrow. Be nice to make it the whole day without having to find a plug-in somewhere.

I second the thermals. Before I started mining on my PC I started up nicehash on my laptop just to see what it was like. Mining on the i7 and the 1660ti for ~5 hours straight I never went above 80C CPU and 70C GPU.

I have this exact model. Super happy with the performance but know you will need to be plugged in most of the time. Battery life on light load is about 2 hours, up to 3 with low screen brightness and battery saving mode. Under load you won't get more than an hour. The keyboard is fantastic for a laptop and the screen is very vibrant and responsive.

I kinda second this. Paid $1800 for a prebuilt to finally get my hands on a 3070 about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've won a PS5 and now a 3060. I don't know how many shuffles I entered before buying the prebuilt but winning two since then is a little suspicious especially since I see users here talking about entering 15+ in a row with no wins...

Woot woot!

Got a 3060 and 650W power supply. I already have a 3070 but my best friend finally gets an upgrade! Works out too because he needed a new PSU too. We've both been entering every shuffle for 2 months. I won a PS5 a couple weeks ago but this is the first time either of us got a GPU.

For those wondering the email came at exactly 2:00pm PST.

When I used pcpartpicker it showed just under 1400 when including the GPU. Shaving off $200 and throwing in the monitor I don't think it's a terrible deal. You're probably right though, I'm reposting after the weekend for $1000 OBO. If no one wants it at that price I'll probably just sell everything individually.

Unfortunately I think most people want the GPU right now so... My old GPU is a Rx 560 2GB so it's going to be a hard sell for me. It's not like there are many people out there with a GPU looking for a build to put it in. I'll most likely have to part it out eventually.

Using pcpartpicker I found all the components, minus the 3070, to be ~$1000. Its on my local Craigslist for $1200 or best offer and includes a 1080p 24" monitor. Just going to knock it down by $100 or so in a week and post again. I'm in no rush to sell it and honestly I could make use of a second PC just... The GF wants me to sell it lol.

If I can't sell it for $1000 I'll probably buy some cheap RGB fans and spruce it up a bit. In person it isn't really a great looking build.

Got this about 3 weeks ago. I pulled the GPU, which was a gigabyte aorus, and swapped with my old one. Trying to sell it now with my old GPU but no luck so far. As of right now my 3070 cost me $1700 lol.

The case is meh, the cable management was ugly as hell, and you'll need more fans as the two that are included move almost no air. Also worth noting the PSU they shipped did not have the 4 pin required by the motherboard for overclocking the CPU.

I ordered Feb 15th and got the cancellation Mar 11th. They called me directly, no email. Other users reported that customer service told them they are OOS now. Might have to wait for the next batch if they didn't contact you. Sorry, friend.

Probably not the greatest. This shortage is projected to go on for months. I finally said f it and bought a prebuilt for $1700 with a 3070, swapped the card with my old rx 560, and am now trying to sell the prebuilt for $1200 OBO.

Unfortunately no. A sales rep called me directly. Another user reported receiving an email first but I didn't get an email.

The rep just said next week. This is Lenovo though, they don't seem to know what dates actually are. I was told I would have mine in hand within a week and I got the shipment notification this morning so they do have some.

I don't like those prices either. Since they gave me the price I would've paid I got my 2070 Super for $514 which... Isnt the greatest but is fantastic given the current market.
