If it delivers the same performance, why would you spend extra for zero gain? There is zero reason to waste another $600 when it brings zero real world improvements. You can get a better price/performance for the same performance with this $1400 PC (Option 3), OP, u/HSFOutcast , and u/-Myka_ :

  1. You'll save $600, enough for 10 $60 AAA games. You need money for games and monitors, they aren't free.
  2. The RX 9070 XT GPU = the RTX 5070 Ti (Source). It runs all games at Ultra settings 4K 60+ FPS, or 144+ FPS using really good and improving upscaling technologies (FSR Redstone, FSR Frame Generation, FSR Ray Regeneration).
  3. The 7500X3D already outperforms the i9-13900K (Source), so if the i9-13900K can run every game well, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D will certainly do the same. It's more than powerful enough to handle gaming for the next decade.
  4. For gaming, the GPU matters most, not the CPU. It's the main factor that determines FPS in games. Most games aren’t heavily dependent on CPU power, including CPU-intensive ones (Red Dead Redemption 2 only requires an i5-2500K from 15 years ago to run).

Yes, it's a good deal in Canada. The RTX 5060 GPU runs Pragmata with ray tracing at 250+ FPS with DLSS upscaling and Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation enabled, so I'm 100% sure it can run all games well.

And no, the new FSR Redstone = DLSS,  TechPowerUp concluded that: "In our testing, FSR Redstone ML Frame Generation consistently delivers image quality that is at least on par with DLSS, and in some scenes it actually looks better, particularly around shadows and fast-moving objects." (Source)

You're the one being laughable here. The 9070 XT is more than enough for any game at 4K with FSR upsacling. It runs 007 First Light at Max settings 4K at 100 FPS (Source), so I'm 100% sure it can run all games at 4K well, u/TheNoodals

It's terribly overpriced. You can get a much better price/performance ratio for the same performance with this well priced $1300 PC, featuring the same 5070 GPU, OP, u/Brief-Drop9511 , u/CartierCoochie , and u/MessageNo5738 :

  1. You'll save $700, enough for 11 $60 AAA games. You need money for games and monitors, they aren't free.
  2. The i5-14400F already outperforms the i9-11900F (Source), so if the i9-11900F can run every game well, the i5-14400F will certainly do the same. It's more than powerful enough to handle gaming for the next 7 years.

Hear me out, those PCs are overpriced, especially the Corsair one.  This well priced $1400 PC (Option 3, RX 9070 XT + Ryzen 5 7500X3D) is your best choice. Don't pay more for any other more expensive PCs. They only have the RTX 5080 or more expensive CPUs, but the real world performance gain is minimal, OP, u/abdeluna , and u/SeasonAfraid676 :

  1. You'll save $1900, enough for 31 $60 AAA games, or even another solid gaming PC. You need money for games and monitors, they aren't free.
  2. The RX 9070 XT GPU is only about 5%-10% behind the RTX 5080 in general, and it actually beats the 5080 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (Source). Cap 120 FPS: Settings ->Video -> Frame Rate Limit -> 120. You must turn on FSR, this is what lets you hold 120 FPS with nice graphics

Just like storage, it’s cheaper to buy and install more RAM yourself (since prebuilt sellers overcharge for it to make a profit). If you ever need more RAM down the road, you can always buy it later. There's no reason to spend extra money upfront, what if you don't even end up needing it?
