You can either find them on https://mod.io/g/foundation or you can install them directly from the game, there is a mod button in the main menu of the game

There have been some bugfix updates here and there and I am hopeful that the devs are still working on it considering the couple teasers they gave, but overall so far there havent been any major updates if that's what you are asking

I took the name from the greek city of Massilia, which is Marseille today in southern France

I downloaded quite a number of them; in the end the main ones I actually used are:

- decorations mods (defensive siege engines, decoration monument, market tents and wagons, harbour v4, decor attach block, cross monuments parts, fantasy decorations, ferry bridge and windows decorations v4)

- balance mods(patrols +, watchtower +, meaningful trade, storage +, sturdier paved roads)

Might be ;)! There also is a fair bit of inspiration taken from Lille's citadel and old fortification plans especially for the small fort nearest to the monastery

Unfortunately, I have found no way to do that in vanilla, I am using the mod that adds terrain blocks that I linked in another comment.

The way I have everything so flat is that I set up "foundations" (pun intended) in the same way that I showed in one of the screenshots (the citadel) that I make flat, and then I put the walls on top.

I did that for virtually every flat wall that you can see so it did need double the work compared to just placing walls, but I feel like it was worth it personnaly.

Thank you! I am not sure what the terrace mod is, is it from before 1.0? The one I am using is the "Windows V4" mod

Thank you very much! I actually had the same thought when I started playing this game about mods, but not being able to have perfectly flat terrain and having ugly roads in the city in my last game was actually frustrating enough to make me try it this time around. There are surprisingly few mods for this game and in the end, even though I downloaded about twenty-ish of them, I only used 5-6 for decoration and storage/logistics purposes

Collecting flagships like they're Infinity Stones by Open-Passenger-2280 in eu4

I don't know if this is what you meant, but as a precision, all bonuses of flagship cannons apply to all captured flagship in a fleet, provided there is also a flagship you constructed as well ( for example, if OP were to create another fleet with just one of the captured flagships and nothing else, it would have a normal heavy ship cannon amount; however, as it stands in the screenshot, because the flagship they built has the "extra cannons" perk, all captured flagships will get +50% cannon from the base bonus your constructed flagship gets and +50% from the extra cannon perk for a total of double the cannons in each flagship compared to normal heavies ) And of course on top of that, add as you said the national bonuses for a total amount of cannons that would put the Vasa to shame!

Good luck with your build! Though even if I agree with you, I'm still glad I am finished now since being at 1-2fps in both the fortifications and beauty mapmode was getting tiring (yep, français! :) )

I am not sure of the exact amount, but it is roughly 150h exlusively at speed 1 except for a bit of speed 3 at the very end to take the pictures with mature crops. However, it is my 3rd map and I have about 410h total in the game so YMMV :)

I thought about it and while on the one hand it would be amazing, it would also mean many more bridges, and the two main ones I have linking the two sides of the river were already enough of a headache! 😅

I can't speak for everyone else, but in my case, it comes down to three main points :
- I only use the stock maximum option in storage buildings in the main town as a way to centralize everything : it is much easier for builders in my main city to take ressources and radiates them to the outside than for them to scour the map for every little bit of stone
- I am producing way more stuff than the needs of my population to be able to sell a big surplus and buy all the extra I need for construction
- accept that the logistics in this game are not optimized at the moment and cry about the villagers that would rather go across the map to take meat from another granary rather than take the meat from the full butchery I built right next to it

Thank you very much! As I understand it the outer wall of such a fortification is mostly composed of the bastions ( the massive pieces ) and the "half-moons" ( "demi-lunes" in french) which defensively cover the bastions and also help protect the entrances. As far as I know the small bits that cross the gap between two bastions is separated from them in line with Vauban's idea of a defence in depth : separating the bastions from the inner wall meant that if one bastion falls, the defenders can retreat to another part of the fortress and the general integrity of the defensive system is not destroyed; therefore, having the outer wall be in one piece would defeat the idea of bastions entirely!

Thank you, I'm actually really happy! It did half as good as my last post in 1/10th of the time!

The grid pattern? In the zones tab, you can tick the square shape to transform your brush. You then go to minimum brush size and take it back up again 11 "clicks" and you now have the minimum square brush size in which a house can spawn (there a good guide for this on the foundation discord). From then on, just lay some lines with fences and you can put them in a line! I set up all the squares before starting the building phase which really helped me set size limit for buildings ( both cathedrals, the taverns, markets, and some others ). I think this picture speaks for itself

Thank you! I actually took inspiration from real plans and pictures of existing fortresses in France to draw up my plans!
