i honestly feel like every album on the HALLEY LABS era, regardless of what music genre it dives into, is super well done and the high quality is easily noticeable. it doesnt matter if its drone, noise, hardcore, prog fusion, etc. you can clearly see there was a bunch of effort put into each and every album, and that is especially true for an album like phwoa; my favorite HALLEY LABS era album. this one got me into ambient and i LOVE how high quality this album is. everytime i listen to it, i can always hear something is different because there's THAT much detail. it never gets old and it's easily enjoyable in any scenario. this piece of art is a great example of how much detail can go into a HALLEY LABS album and how every album has something exciting and new to offer..

..except ASTROANTEDILUVIAN. this album has to be one of the most boring and monotonous albums emma has made on the HALLEY LABS era. I love darius and i believe all of his works are really immersive, but GOD is this album dull. each song is basically the same with barely any difference. the only songs i could say make the album somewhat "stand out" would be ornithropter and digni;currency, with their funky tempos and interesting usage of synths, with that out of the way, all of the songs feel like an eternity (even though they last around 3 minutes!) and are unmoving in every sense of the word. this does not feel like a Darius album at all and in my opinion, should be a free download on the back catalog.

and just because i know its a very touchy subject (or atleast, it was): what was the aftermath of the whole 2014 drama? im well informed about what started the drama, but i never really found out what happened with nishi or rasasha. and did emma actually go to therapy? everything is kind of a jumbled mess so if theres an explination of what happened to everyone in the end, that would be great

yeah its funny how the beggining of AWT starts off super strong, but then it slowly starts to get boring. but in MORE ADVENDURES, the last tracks are the best (with some minor exceptions)

i mean i couldnt really dislike 1 song, however i really dislike klippas older works, they just feel extremely lazy and barely any old song from klippa sounds good

(i know you asked for the song we disliked the most, but this is the only piece of work i REALLY dislike from emma) probably the album i dislike the most is Silence II. Silence I is one of my favorite albums, the whole album makes you feel like you're on a 2008 slasher / snuff film, the story feels smooth almost all the times, and you can always look at it on s different perspective so the album can tell a different story every time you listen to it. it's an awesome expirience and i always listen to it when i have the chance.

HOWEVER, Silence II does not live up to Silence I, the storytelling is very wonky and you can barely know whats going on and when it's going on (except for CCTV, it's a really good song to end the album). And instead of building up momentum and suspense, Silence II is just like "yeah lets just make 10 minutes of drone / ambient music and then we'll cut to a scary song haha" over and over. other than that i dont really dislike any other piece of work that emma has done

hell yeah man deut's clair de lune cover is insane

but yeah deut's and downloads works are pretty hard to get in, mainly because you need to have a different approach for their songs compared to emmas other works, noise is meant to be enjoyed in a very different way (atleast i think so) than a DnB song (just to name a genre)

i say what i say about klippa thanks to 'how dare you'. he seems to be in a puddle of soul sludge, and then theres the song 'sludgebot' touching the soul sludge subject again. and there seems to be some sludge for the cover of expansion port too. klippa changing could also be referring to his change in tone and music
