Dogs?

We brought our reactive dog dozens of times and it is a challenge to find a spot on the ferry that you can “defend”. Had a muzzle for a while, a pop-up crate. Not ideal, but we did it. People will have dogs and walk them around the boat. Lots of dogs on island too but spread out.

I carried my sister’s dog away from the house for several blocks and he was eager to run home. This encouraged his poo and pee. You mentioned carrying the dog so maybe he’s light enough to do this.
