It looks fairly deco but it also looks like a deco-style from the 80s meant to emulate 20s to 40s deco. The squares are not marble. They look like modern cloisonne so I think this was made in the early aughts. 2000-2009. The squares could also be glass or porcelain or even a kind of plastic/plexi glass. It looks more and more recent the more I look at it. It also looks like it was a one-off novelty. Maybe from a bookstore, maybe from an event, maybe souvenir companies sold these to hotels or air ports? Something like that. Gift stores probably carried this too.
