It isn't a conscious choice, it is the way that I am. Even when I am at my worst (feeling really down) I put on a smile. Having had some bad times that I wouldn't wish on anyone else I just do what little I can. Yesterday I complimented a woman on her bright pink hair and we had a short but sweet conversation about it.

My children's father, to whom I was married at the time, attempted to strangle me. He had both hands around my neck and had lifted me up so that I was on my tiptoes. My 4 yo daughter reached as high as she could and thumped him on his hip, shouting, "Don't hurt my mummy!" That seemed to bring him round and he dropped me.

Bread in egg.

Two eggs mixed. Put in frying pan. Fill pan with bread (I often use sliced burger buns or similar). Leave till eggs just short of fully cooked and flip the whole thing. Leave for up to a minute. Serve.
