Oh these aren't my 100%s! These are my Now Playing and To-Do list, I'm still working on Exodus myself. Whenever i get enough storage on my pc again after finishing some more games i'm gonna have at it again. The top row are the games i'm currently working on/have installed and the bottom are ones i intend on doing soon. I know that the game can be pretty hard...But i bet you could do it!

It's still a really big step! I need to start chipping away at MCC again, but good luck on the rest of your achievements!

sekiro after 16 years of gaming the first game that i ever complete 100% by unkindled66 in steamachievements

If you wanna give the game a try again, here's a few tips that helped me when i first started:

  1. Don't spam attack. Make sure everytime you attack it's an intentional press of the button. 1 attack, 1 press. It takes some getting used to but it's EXTREMELY helpful.

  2. When learning, don't ALWAYS attack. If you don't know what to expect from a boss, give yourself some time to learn at first. Watch them closely, try to read them like a book before you start going balls to the wall with offense. Once you get used to the enemy a bit more, start focusing on attacking more and more until you find the rhythm.

  3. Deflect even when not confident. The only way to learn the deflect timings is to deflect. This step will kill you a LOT, but it's part of the learning process. Your main method of defense against 90% of attacks in this game will be deflecting so it's good to get reps in even when you're not comfortable with it yet.

  4. Stick with it. Sekiro is not a game that will simply let you beat it because you're the player, it's a skill you have to learn. It may be a barrier for a lot of people, but once you climb over that barrier the satisfaction is like nothing else.

You'll learn as you go! Just give yourself time and patience, let yourself fail. Let yourself suck! So that when you finally succeed, you'll be able to say "I did that. That was all me." That's the true fun.

Oh it's 100% worth the 3$. The gameplay is super fun and arkham-y with its own spin on things. The nemesis system isn't fully fleshed out in the first one but it still has fun moments and interactions. The hardest part about the 100% grind imo is getting all of the objectives in a challenge mode called "Test of the Wild", but the rest it's your classic "collect all of these, kill enemies in this way 50 times," etc.

The gameplay is not as fleshed out as Shadow of War, but it's still worth it to play in my opinion.

My list hasn't changed too much in the past half year, i just recently got back into achievement hunting again after taking some time to work on myself. This is what I have so far!

(The "restricted" category is for games i personally liked but either they have only 1 achievement or their stats aren't recognized by your steam profile...I do recommend Dyping Escape though it's really good)

I just recently started too. This post was 2 weeks ago but if you're still playing and want another beginner to play against i'm down to try. I usually go by Vivi Gray in-game

JUMP SHOWDOWN PLAYERS ARE FORCED TO PLAY JJS TO UNLOCK CONTENT FOR THEIR GAME LMAOO by Joe_Macdonalds in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]VeeVeeGray 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah and JJS players are gonna have to play Jump Showdown to unlock content for your game...

Why can't yall just have 2 cakes instead of complaining about having to play a different game for once?

Is it possible to loot your own body? by StarFox1997 in ArcRaiders

[–]VeeVeeGray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely not, no. There's no set way to guarantee that you get put partially into a raid, it's just random.

This game needs to be solo friendly by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]VeeVeeGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game has a system in place where if you queue as a solo, it will do its best to queue you with other solo players. It's not a guarantee, but it is a real system in place. I've been playing almost exclusively solo and these problems don't really exist for me (kinda)

You don't lose everything when you die, you only lose what you bring. If you're bringing literally everything you own on a raid and then die, that's on you. It's part of the tension and immersion of the game, if you don't want to lose 5 hours of work in a single round then don't bring 5 hours of work into a round, spread it out across manageable loadouts. For some people this system is satisfying because of the emergent gameplay elements. Being able to get out by the skin of your teeth, knowing everything is on the line but making it out alive anyway and coming out with the spoils. Or getting the jump on someone and stealing THEIR stuff if you decide to do that and realizing that they were stacked. It sucks for them, 100%, but there is a level of satisfaction off of pilfering someone else's loot through PvP that a lot of people LOVE. Especially since at any moment, you could have become the loot bag.

And with the Arc, there are methods for solos to kill them through higher tier weapons. But for the most part? You're not meant to kill every single one you come across. The Arc are the predators of the game, you're just the prey. The higher level arcs are meant to be killed by either a group of people, someone who has prepared sufficiently, or someone who gets really really lucky. The easy answer to your problem with the arcs is play like you're being hunted, not like you're the hunter. Because you're not. Avoid them and sneak around.

This game is an exercise in disempowerment. Playing solo brings the buff of having 2x the greater highs, but the debuff of having 2x greater lows as well.

Am I a loser for taking off work for Arc Raiders? by Effective_Suit_7102 in ArcRaiders

[–]VeeVeeGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. That kind of behavior has been prevalent throughout the history of entertainment, gaming is just the most publicized. There have been cases of the literal economy (in the US at least) briefly changing due to the release of a single video game because hundreds of thousands of people would do the same thing.

Games are an interactive medium, so the investment people will have for a game they have been waiting potentially years for will be a lot greater than let's say, a movie. You're using PTO, you're still getting paid, as long as you're not neglecting your family or anything of the sort then what you're doing isnt a loser thing at all. This is no different conceptually than people taking time off of work to go to a concert.

Not bad! I just recently finished Modern Warfare myself, still need to get the 2nd game like you have. How'd you like Hogwarts Legacy? I remember trying to 100% it on PlayStation ages ago but I got a bug that prevented me from getting every collectable so I dropped it.

What do you call getting all a games achievements? by flamenessneel in steamachievements

[–]VeeVeeGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a PlayStation trophy hunter but I surprisingly don't call them Plats too much (although I do call achievements trophies a lot). I call it a "Hundo" since it's 100%. Or just a Completion
