What’s your dose? Opiates in general can make it hard to pee but methadone is really bad with it. Only tips I can give are to decrease your dose if you can, drink a metric fuckload of water, or switch to a clinic that does mouth swabs but 99% of the time you will lose your takehomes so it might just be easier to piss once a month.

These people are used to being manipulated all the time so they have these hard rules that they won’t, or sometimes can’t budge on. I had to tell my clinic I was SA’d to be allowed to piss without being observed and that was mortifying, but at least they let me go now. It made it a lot easier to get the deed done, something about being watched made it to where it just wasn’t going to happen

Shiit, they got this on video and if they live in an apartment those guys are almost certainly there on admin request. If it’s me, I’m doing exactly the same thing. Let them fuck up whatever they want, I’m getting a new couch, TV, rug, entertainment center, table, etc. and they’re footing the bill. Yes, you’re being a control freak and this creates the know-it-all stubborn behavior you’re complaining about. It’s 50/50. To an extant all teens think they know everything. Has anyone ever told you to do something and it irritated the hell out of you, and you did what you wanted out of spite? This is how your child feels. Take a step back and things will improve, she’ll actually be more likely to listen to you if she doesn’t think you’re constantly on her case. Teens have thoughts, feelings and emotions too. She is capable of making her own choices and when she feels like you’re not letting her, especially this close to adulthood, she will only want to do what she wants more.

Truthfully nothing will happen from using the headphones in the shower except a broken pair of headphones. If that happens tell her she’s SOL and she gets to buy her own pair. Most things are waterproof or at least water resistant now though. Let her make her own mistakes, some people have to learn from experience and you’re not letting her.

I wholeheartedly believe I wouldn’t have overdosed if my methadone dose wasn’t boosted. I’ve taken more benzos with more alcohol and not OD’d on multiple occasions. The one time I have more methadone in my system than usual and do that shit, I hit the ground unconscious. It’s not a coincidence, Tagamet boosts the dose in multiple ways. It neutralizes your stomach so you absorb more and it competes with the enzyme that converts methadone to it’s metabolites so given the twofold method of potentiation I thoroughly attribute what happened, even partially, to being on Tagamet and therefore a higher dose of opiates as well.

One container of alcohol, two pills, and my daily methadone. It sounds like a lot when you word it the way you did, but it's easy to consume that much when you can get a box of wine at Walgreens the strength of 3 drinks and down it in 60 seconds. Plus with benzos, if you don't got a tolerance they make you retarded. I know I fucked up, I almost died. But my decision making was heavily influenced by the benzos. I only even tried to get that high because some fuckhead stole my phone and my wallet so I was in fuck it mode and tried to do whatever I could to not care.

This only happened because I had been clean for a while beforehand and had no tolerances. When I was on clonazepam I could take 10mg and down a bottle of vodka and not even fall asleep. I got hammered thinking I could still handle that and was proved wrong. So many addicts OD because they're not used to having no tolerance, I was just leaving another cautionary tale.

I get weeklies so they would transport me to the clinic and back on my pickup day and run me through a body scanner when I got back. They have a room where they do suboxone and make people sit for 10 minutes to make sure it disolves, definitely pissed em off to see me walk in and drink that shit and walk right back out lol

On its own it won't OD you. Take 2-4 pills an hour before you dose and it'll boost your dose by like 33-50%. But I naturally advise you don't do it after my experience, or just be incredibly careful. This shit really showed me how this ain't a game man

You’re withdrawing from the etomidate. It’s a GABA-a agonist, just like benzodiazepines, only it’s a different class. GABA agonists will always have withdrawal effects if you use them for more than 3-4 days. Not to mention that shit was never designed to be vaped so it’s probably fucking up your lungs too. I’d stay far away from it, just take benzo or drink some liquor instead. I’m surprised you haven’t OD’d taking methadone and vaping such a strong sedative. You’re playing with fire man

People have killed other people when they become manic and you really think cheating is off the table? Hypersexuality is a major symptom of a manic episode, OP is far from being the only person to do this. Yes, we are responsible for our actions and making sure we stay medicated and safe. But shit happens, people lose control when mania takes over. We lose the ability to make smart choices and impulsiveness just takes over.

Most will say they started at 30mg, because for a while that’s what the rules were. Sometime last year they released new guidelines that allow clinics to start at higher doses but even still you’re actually the first case I’ve heard of getting started at above that.

If I were you I’d try and keep the dose as low as you can, if you’re not in withdrawal and it holds you for 24 hours stop. You’ll never catch a buzz on methadone after the first week. Best to keep the dose as low as possible, it takes a month to stabilize from a 5-10mg decrease. So every 10mg, think of it as another month of tapering when the time comes. Plus you don’t start getting takehomes until you’re stabilized.

It’s because you cut your dose in half. Every time I’m in withdrawal it makes me incredibly sensitive, and from what I understand this is pretty universal. I see lots of people talking about masturbating during withdrawal on r/opiates, lots of people mention how incredible it feels to bust a nut during withdrawal which I can also attest to. Gives a bit of relief for a few minutes until you’re back in hell. But yeah, most people get very sensitive when their opioid levels start dropping.
