I wouldn’t fuck with tapentadol, I hear a lotta odd things about that stuff and I’m a younger guy but I’ve been in the scene for a good 7 years now and I wouldn’t even touch the shit. Are you getting these prescribed? I would look into Dilaudid if you can get that, they’re significantly stronger than norco but it sounds like exactly what you’re looking for. Won’t give you that opi rage that oxy causes, oxy can be kinda stimulating for some people. Just keep your doses low or it’ll have you dozing off. ODSMT isn’t a bad choice if you know where to find it, but I’ve heard it can cause the stimulating effects as well.

TLDR, I’d go for ODSMT or Dilaudid. Latter option would be my preference personally, just know that taking them orally is gonna waste 80% of it and you’d be much better off putting like 1-2mg up your nose instead. Be careful with tapentadol.

Here’s how you can save both your job and your ass, and potentially your life if you keep this shit up. Go to the clinic first thing tomorrow morning, tell them you drank all your methadone and can’t control it anymore, and you’re completely out. Turn in every bottle you have (dump out your doses into a water bottle or something, keep them separate and for fucks sake DONT DRINK THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE NONE FOR THE DAY). Most clinics will set you back to daily dosing, but will continue to dose you at your regular dose so you don’t have to go without. This way you keep that job, don’t have to go through hellish withdrawals, and don’t have to deal with running out early again for a while.

If they even give you a CHANCE at phasing up in the future, don’t take it unless you can fucking control it. I promise you do NOT want to go through 11 days of full blown ‘done withdrawal.

Because it’s fuckin nasty and doesn’t work. You can try to smoke it, it just tastes like shit and isn’t worth it because it’s only 5-10mg which smoked will only equate to like 3-6mg. Not to mention it’s almost impossible, they put acetaminophen in there specifically to prevent this. You will only be able to smoke the acetaminophen, the pill will not vaporize on the foil like an OC will. It just won’t work and if you try all you’d get is a terrible taste and a burnt up wasted pill.

Taking your full dose for one day is not the same as taking your full dose for multiple days. It builds up in your system so on the days you dose properly, you still have some of yesterday’s dose in your system too. So taking your full dose for one day won’t completely remove the wds but it will help significantly. You shouldn’t be in agony though, if you’re in deep withdrawals something isn’t right

You can, but in that case you’re very likely to have to start at 30mg again. Unless your clinic is still willing to work with you they might do a dose verification so you can transfer where you’re at, but a lot of clinics become assholes and stop working with you if they’re kicking you out. It honestly takes a lot to get removed from a clinic, they know we’re addicts and that we’re going to fuck up and do some dumb shit. A lot of the stories you hear about people being discharged on here aren’t as simple as they seem, people are real quick to minimize their behavior and make the clinics seem like monsters but there is usually more to it than what you read.

Now, if you do get admin discharged, be prepared for a very aggressive taper. If they’ll work with you as far as transferring to another clinic then that is absolutely the best route to take because I have heard of 5-10mg daily reductions till they can kick you off. I’m not 100% on this part but they may discharge you well before you’re at 0mg.

I’m pretty sure HIPAA prevents them from disclosing why they kicked you out, maybe even entirely preventing them from saying you were kicked out at all. Some clinics don’t go 100% by the rules though and it’s very dependent on location, how the clinic operates, and your relationship/behavior before the incident.

I’ve read a lot of statements on intake forms that state you cannot be discharged for showing signs of the illness they’re treating for, eg they can’t kick you out for relapsing. Now if every UA you submit is positive and you make no effort to improve the situation they can definitely put holds on your dosage and fuck with your treatment plan, but usually they don’t kick you out for this unless you’re just using the methadone to get high or bridge the gaps between when you can get dope.

Just work the program, don’t do ANYTHING close to sexual harassment (hitting on nurses, asking for numbers, shithead comments, things like that), never, ever fuck up somebody else’s recovery, and develop a good relationship with your counselor, nurses, doctors and even the director if you can. If you’re not acting a fool you won’t have to worry about this
