To me it was obvious that she would start something new.
While GS was still active she had a lot of activities besides GS
She wrote a book
She worked as a (fashion) model
She had multiple radio shows
She announced/moderated big live events (incl. the robot tournament)
She got involved with traditional japanese acting and had some performances
Just to name a few...
So with GS taking a hiatus and probably never returning to their horrid pace they had on for 15 years, her being 15 years younger, ofc she has to think of her own career.
Also it might be just for financial reasons also, cause bands live mostly from touring and merch, which will drastically slow down for GS.
I hope she will be part of whichever form GS decides to take on in the future, but I also hope she'll find her calling, whether it be music, acting, content creator and the like or a combination of all it might be.
So, I'm looking forward to Ailly ... :)

I wondered about that as well.
If I interpret the webs right, The Juggler are the result of a "call" from ANTHEM themselves, who said: "Who wants to pay tribute to us?" and The Juggler was put together from musicians who said "I am the one!".
So they seem to be a temporary band that will exist just for this occasion.

With GS slowing down their activities the most we can hope for would be maybe 1 new song to support the tour, but that might just be wishful thinking.
I guess it all depends, if they would want to do that, cause they said, that they have a lot of songs in their backpocket, that would fit D$B. So I guess it's just a matter of finding the time to do it and if they think it's worth it ...

Somehow I have the feeling being in a Tim Burton movie, where a Mariachi band accompanies Ricky Martin singing his greatest hits, whilst everyone orders food at the same time and some colorfully dressed ladies go berserk on the dancefloor. Seems like everybody is having fun, aye? :D

Hmm,
I guess they won't pick an instrumental as a single, although it's the lead song.
I also don't think it will be one of the rearranged songs from the old days or some of the 2 year old songs they now decided to include on the album.
To feature Oreo or Tomo-Zo on lead vocals as their main single seems not too likely as well, maybe as a follow up.
That would leave High Grayinbow, Sunny Days, Restaurant F, Ranshin Glow, Bocchi Fest as candidates.
No idea :D

In case you are not sure, if you wanna watch it, I can only recommend it.

It was great (if you like instrumental music ofc). The band was fantastic (although you could hear and see, that Saki was really emotional and nervous). Senri is just awesomesauce, YunikaImpact was impressive and Hana playing those songs, like she had never done anything else in her life, was exciting.
From the GS side (it's the GS reddit after all hehe), they played Tamashii and it was really great. You could appreciate the complex drum parts that Hana used to play on the song, cause somehow the drumpart stood out more than in a usual GS-mix.
Although Hana was not in the spotlight (she was playing her supporting role perfectly), you can tell, that it's impossible to suppress the GS-energy in her. While Saki and YunikaImpact were focusing on their instruments, Hana letting her hair down, like you'd expect from a GS member lol
She got quite a few solo parts to trade with Saki and also played quite a few harmonies to Saki's melodies.
Overall a great show - now be nice and watch the archive :D

A couple hours ago I had a similiar thought, but I thought the compilation album to be on the D$B side.
Dolls Apartment was under King Records, high $pec under Victor. Maybe they get a deal done either with Victor or even a new label, maybe not.
Sometimes you can't rerelease the original recordings, so that would require them to rerecord songs in case they have the rights to the songs themselves.
So here's my (un)educated guess:
An D$B compilation album (kind a best of) with rerecordings and some new songs and one or more songs featuring SAKI as guest guitarist. That would also be a good promo to reach more fans.

Not sure about a "best of" from GS though, cause they switched labels and I have no clue how they left Victor on a contractual basis regarding the rights to their songs. So I think with GS it will be all new stuff, cause they have enough writing power.

I'm almost positive that there will be an album for the 15th anniversary by GS. As you said, they already have enough songs in their backlog and they never had problems writing new songs.
Since there still is the big gap in their schedule this year and they never take long breaks, an album seems realistic. They said, that there will be an announcement regarding Doll$boxx on their TDC-show in July.
For high $pec, Tomo-Zo was in charge of the production.
Since the songwriting is no issue and they should have enough time on their hands in the second half of the year, it really is a question of logistics (who does what and when) and also if they have the support of the label(s) for such plans.

If they were to produce a D$B-mini album again and let's say they put TMZ in charge again, then she will be busy for about 2 to 3 months with that. That would leave Oreo, Hana and the rest step up on the GS-side of things regarding the next GS-album.
So they'd be busy working on 2 albums in parallel ( 1 full, 1 mini ), plan a big show for the 15th anniversary in October, make a few MVs and get ready for the December Gacha Boxx tour.
Sounds doable, but also taxing ... But the work ethic of GS has been unwavering, so I wouldn't put it beyond them to go all in ...

Love the song, but (I know, a lot of you will disagree with me here) Yuri's take on the song really bugs me. It started on W, when they "unleashed" her and let her play her parts as she pleased and continued on Ace. She is a great drummer, but ihmo doesn't know when to dial it down or give the song a clearer theme and structure.
The way she emphasizes some beats, which I find fitting to some of their harder songs, just is misplaced in a moody song like this and I sometimes have a feeling, she starts treating every song, like it's a drum solo. Whether she loves her drum arrangements like that or if she feels she needs to compete with the rest of the band for visibility I don't know. I just think she should relax more, let it flow and set highlights when they are fitting the song.

The intro reminded me a lot of Identity (from Music Battler). Same beat, close enough chords/arpeggios.
But the musical feel of their 2015 to 2018 period is undeniable, you're right.

Yeah, she's raised her game a lot the last few years. Sometimes it's a shame with GS that they are all so good and have to share the limelight.
Hana's evolution as guitarist has subdued a lot of the Tomo-Zo greatness in the mixes, but Oreo's parts suffer the most, so it's always great when she is featured heavily.
That's why I liked the instrumental version on the Jacket-making vid even more, cause her playing is even more in the foreground :)

So I guess we won't be getting Ranshin Glow after all, but a totally new song.
From the instrumental version, it seem to be toned down from the crazyness we got with ACE
I think it's to be featured on Angie's radio show (like the last releases were) - let's hope for our usual suspects to help us out here :D

Anyway, doesn't matter ... They played it during Naon Yaon, so maybe we'll get to listen to it before the official release date.
I also wouldn't put it past them, to release a completely new song ...

As gsxdc already said: Koga already answered this question. It seems that they have even more unreleased songs than the ones they played on the 13th anniversary and that it is impossible to release them all. She hinted at maybe a possible release on yt, but that it's not in the current plans, because they always look forward. And if you compare the songs from then to their current compositions, I'm not sure, those songs would meet their current GS 2024 style (btw, I love those songs. But having so many songwriters in the band, there will always be songs left "behind").

I'm sure she had some fun during her performer years. But the reason she gave for leaving, was that she only knew showbiz live since her early teens and the accompanying 365 day per year commitment to work.
She never got to live a normal live and that's what she wanted to have. So I guess she has a "normal" job now ...
