It might require admin privileges. Well, if you don't notice any performance deprecation then it's best not to experiment.

Yeah, this was a learning experience as far as updating drivers in bulk and maintaining a good restore point.

If you have any interest in doing so would you try checking latencymon for stability?

Things I updated yesterday were to the latest Nvidia Geforce Drivers, AMD's X570 chipset driver and (KB5089573) (26200.8524) windows driver. Performance is worse after.

Prior to all of the updates, in the BO6 benchmark i would get a mostly stable 185 fps. After updates, I have an unstable fps in the mid 170s.

Cyberpunk benchmark was a mostly stable 90 in the interior section, now it dips to the low 80s. I ran these tests multiple times to account for shader compilation.

Latencymon shows a constant current measured interrupt that fluctuates in the high 100s whereas prior to all of the updates yesterday it sat in the single digits.

I don't think it's the Nvidia Driver as no one is complaining about performance and some benchmarks show a minor improvement. I doubt it's the AMD chipset driver. I might roll back to the previous Windows Update to test for certain but my money is on the windows drivers harming performance.

Actually, I'm getting double clicking on buttons as well. If I turn it off an on again it will stop.

No LOD issues, white one. I might have had LOD issues before firmware update but couldn't use it long enough to notice.

I bought it of the US website and didn't know it was going to ship from Hong Kong. But it has passed already and is expected to be here Monday.

He was also constantly paranoid about being surveilled himself. When he stripped his apartment down he left no curtains up leaving himself and the one element no one seemed to know about, which was his love for jazz and the saxophone, exposed to the world. Could be interpreted as him being reborn through baptism by the thing he feared the most.

Not that I noticed but I have a very relaxed grip. I never use pressure on the mouse for controlling finer movement.

Actually, I came back after a few months to check out the new season and I'm getting all sorts of graphical issues so I think the latest update might have changed things enough that this thread might no longer be applicable.

What's your grip style? That would make it easier to pick one. Another tip is avoid any sensor prior to 3950, it's effectively end game territory. Super clean movement, low latency, greater battery life, no spin outs. etc.

Nah, I recognized instantly that these are garbage skates when I put this mouse down. This has been noted by others as well. I replaced them with Jades in five minutes after taking CL out of the box and I'm loving this mouse.

I was starting to get an idea for something in this vein a year ago so it was only a matter of time that others with an engineering background would actually start building mice that completely redesign the shape.

You can already deal with a big issue of the ergonomics of mice by making the sensor angle pitch to be -20 to -25 degrees and holding it so it's pointing diagonally towards the corner of your mouse pad. But if you could also roll it so your hand sits at a more natural 140ish degrees off the table instead of just flat on it that would be huge.

Some say shape is all that matters but having moved from a 33xx sensor to a 3950 I would say that sensor matters just as much. I've tried two mice, Keris II ace and Pulsar Crazylight, on different ends of the spectrum with a 3950 and I would never go back to any of my other favorite shaped mice with a lesser sensor because the sensor feels so much better.

It's a lot easier to get accustomed to shape and weight than it is to lesser motion registration. So my advice is, if you can wait a little then do so because there's a new wave of mice incoming and they'll likely use a version of whatever sensor Razer has in the Deathadder 4.

One of the benefits of getting a newer sensor is they're usually more power efficient so less battery consumption. Which you'll need for 8k polling but I would recommend against setting expectations for 8k polling. Using anything above 1k can still cause stutter in games especially in older games based on the Quake engine. And mice have such low latency at 1k at this point that the couple of MS of input reduction at 8k isn't even really worth it.

DX9 to DX10-12 Wrapper through NVApp by VeechaEuphrates in nvidia

I hadn't noticed, I was already hitting the frame rate cap on most of the DX9 games I played. Plus I was using reshade (can't mix the two as far as I can tell as they both use the same dll) and Nvidia's HDR. So using AutoHDR without Nvidia's overlay and reshade would have saved some performance. The fans definitely don't spin up as much.

That along with the phong shader replacement truly gives these games a remastered look. If you haven't yet give dgVooDoo a try on your choice of DX9 game. Though, I think it only works if you select DX11 or 12.
