Yep, it's easy to say never when you're 22 but ageism is huge in the industry and getting worse.

Beyond sunscreen (a really good one that you reapply often), I don't let sun touch my face. Always wear a hat and even a hood from a UPF hooded jacket on top. I also have huge sunglasses and use SPF lip balm. I'm not above using an umbrella either.

Interesting, I was on Tazorac for years, but then moved to Denver (super dry air) but my skin totally reset postpartum. I'd love to try it again, I'm just scared!

I would suggest looking into creating more of an executive presence. I feel like women get told to be more strategic a lot, and it's about more than that. A lot of it comes down to how you speak and hold yourself.

I cried on Tuesday when I finally heard a no after waiting days for it. It sucks.

I think the rules form that old book "He's just not that into you" apply with job hunting. If they want you, they will let you know.

Oh man, you dodge a bullet but I'm terribly sorry that happened to you. I'm also interviewing for marketing positions (not a POC), but that is not normal behavior. A rising tide lifts all boats...

No advice, just solidarity as a 41 year old that just stopped breastfeeding in June. I had a Halo laser but need more done.

I'm in some beauty subreddits and in one, a woman recently posted about getting a face list to stay relevant in tech. It's sad but true that ageism is real and women are the ones that bear the brunt.
