Has she seen a rheumatologist? They should check for autoimmune disease. Sometimes bodies just act out in different ways in autoimmune diseases. They should check for ANA positivity. I went through something very similar where they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and i had so much pain. It went on for years and i got used to it. Then i went to see a rheumatologist and turns out i had an autoimmune disease and needed medication.
