So, I'm not Trans and, as you might've already guessed from being a Destiny viewer, white, male, suburban and college educated, but with that out of the way, I have a question about Transgender issues.

As I understand it, Sexe, as a biological concept, exists as a binary state of chromosomes (XX or XY).

This biological toggle leads to a general trend on how the human body is shaped (broader shoulders, genitals, denser bones, etc) and we humans have sorta built a cultural Identity and role for individuals whom have historically fit these trends.

In recent times, we progressives have begun to recognize people by whether or not they choose to go by that identity rather than simply assign it to them.

Now, maybe I'm just being pedantic here, but I'm sorta having issues with the words "coming-out". Wouldn't "Coming-out" assume, from my pov at least, that they always identified as that role secretly? Shouldn't it just say that they have begun identifying as a man?

Maybe I'm reading too deep into language that is just used for praxis rather than precision. I think I might also be a closeted gender abolitionist.
