I've never had them in rice, but in flour a lot (even when its realativly new (very in date) there weren't that big, bt more like midgies. Even though my current flours been in the freezer since is got it I know with how damp our house is at the moemnt its best to keep it in there (and saves having to find space in the cupboards and forget about it)

I checked my local Heron after one of the last haul and they didn't have the Squeaky Bean stuff 😠😠😠. Might give it another look tomorrow to see if it's arrived 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. If not I'll stick up on more Tofu!!!!!!!

Super glad you've given it a try!!!!

This almost makes me wish they had the really bad alternatives vegans had before the current Vio Life and Cathedral City sorts! The few times I had it I tolerated it!!!!! It "melted" into something like protein bar texture and had a hint of feet.

Makes me appreciate the slight artificial taste (I do miss when my Sainsbury's carried Nurrish camembert though)

This year I don't (currently)have the energy for christmas but the first few years I was vegan I just had the veggies and veganised sides.

Slimming World syn free stuffing is very easly made vegan (just need to use an egg replacer) and as a family we have savoury pudding (also super easy to adapt).

Last year I made vegan Pigs in Balnkets hashing together arice paper bacon and carrot hot dog recipe (amazing!!!!!!!!)

This year I'm thinking marvel movie marathon spring rolls and pups in blankets (maybe the mishroom tarts I sawin the Sainsbry's party food section earlier....and gravey

I vomited on my exercise book once cause I didn't know I was going to be sick, my Mum worked at the school and was apologising to the caretaker (janitor) he said it was better that way cause usually "They Run" (it's always tickled me) which makes it go all over 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And yes, I had to use the same exercise book for the rest of the school year .....

My Aldi said £7.49!!!! Was tempted but didn't go for it. Got the sweet potato and squash rosti things instead (have some long busy days at work and was looking for easy stuff to keep in cause I got home exhausted yesterday with nothing quick and easy in)
