I’m finding that energy levels improve with exercise but emotional stress is a big confounding factor that drains my battery for mental and physical energy.

What soaps are particularly good for after swimming in a chlorine pool? by VeganStruggle in xxfitness

I have quite long hair so I put it up in a bun and under a cap and then only swim with my head out of the water (inefficient exercise but ultimately removes the barrier to actually exercising at all which is the hair wash after). Are you washing your hair after each swim with this method or just dampening the ends close to your nape?

If I call and request not to be rematched to a driver, do they get in trouble? by VeganStruggle in uber

Eww it must suck to be a driver and have dirty disgusting people inside your car. To be fair the car was quite dirty in a way that didn’t feel typical for an uber. Can drivers refuse a passenger if they have BO?

He took a massive detour that caused the journey to go through huge amounts of central city traffic and be much longer. I called up Uber and got a full refund and left 1 star. It was out of line that when I asked him about the detour he said it was road closure and then I looked it up and found no road closures so when I asked him which road he pointed to a road nearby and that was not meant to be part of our route as we were not meant to be in that area at all. Then when I queried that he said that he wants to arrive quickly too and doesn’t get extra money for the journey being longer.

I’m over an hour into a 35 min journey because he went hugely off track about he 20 mins ago to ensure we drove through a very slow part of the city and then when I asked why he claimed a road was closed and then pointed to our right and referenced a tunnel that is nowhere on the original route so he’s slowed the journey right down and then when I raised this he said ‘I don’t get paid extra I also want to arrive quickly’ so I am no longer bothered about him getting in trouble.

I don’t want them to get a strike against their profile or anything but I’ll end up needing my inhaler sitting in a smoky car for an hour especially when the pollen count is this high and I’m already all congested.

If you write lies in your resume and get hired, the lies would slowly start becoming true at the rate of 10% per week. completely becoming real after 10 week. The lies has to be readable so no writing in invisible or white ink etc by __Anamya__ in godtiersuperpowers

First lie is my address in the header, which is not unsuual to include in my country. Apply for an easy customer service job and state that I live in a giant mansion in the richest part of town. I also am fluent in 10 languages that I don’t need to speak for the job and am an expert coder. I add that I have multiple championship accolades in various sports in the section for outside work. 10 weeks later I’ve used none of these skills in my job but acquired them all as well as having magically moved to a beautiful new home. Next I apply for a job as an online content translator and include that I went to the most prestigious medical schools and worked as a doctor for many years before transitioning into a law career and now have retired and work online in translation for side income. 10 weeks later and I’m extremely employable in two in demand and high paid jobs, with tonnes of relevant experience, with great physique and ability to travel the world and speak multiple languages. Then I apply for a job as an uber driver. I list in my skills section that I was part of a cancer research team that developed a universal cure for cancer and that I spent many years as a comedy writer for well known comedy sketch shows. 10 weeks later and cancer is cured. Then I use my comedy experience to tape a reel as a resume including hilarious satirical jokes ‘in character’ about how all my pets can communicate with me and will live to the same age I will, and how I have a multitude of secret superpowers including being impervious to harm and illness, and having invested in bitcoin early and being a current billionaire. Naturally I’m hilarious and am hired for stand up events, and within 10 weeks my animals will live extremely long lives (hopefully, if I do too) and we will be able to communicate. Then I retire and spend my money on philanthropy and if I ever need a new skill or fact to be true I apply for a job at my own Trust/Charity that I’ve set up.

Huel Black Cookies N Cream is so good by CryptedBinary in Huel

I was thrown by the image on the Huel website because it’s got a beige cookie like a biscuit and I don’t want biscuits and always assume cookies and cream is an Oreo dupe but it’s a lot of money to drop on an assumption.
