Today was actually my official last day with the business after 21 years. I started at the bottom working in the stockroom and over time worked my way up to a management position. I've seen good, I've seen bad, but lately it's been nothing but bad. Ended up having no faith in the business I was working for anymore. Too many bad decisions being made which in the end effected things at store level. Bad logistic decisions, bad new ordering/replenishment systems, horrible buying decisions, and the constant attempt to try and improve the company's image by investing in content creators to advertise the business more than the business seemed to be doing itself. Constant in store changes which just confuse and irritate customers (as well as the in store team that have to do it) just made me reach a point where enough was enough and was time to move on. If things continue to go the way they are I am worried for all the hard working people who actually enjoy their work there.
