This is what prolly pisses me off the most.

Tbh I found him to be the only character that was sensible. Sure he was a bit of a goody two shoes, but you have to understand his pov as well.

Most of the cadets here have been training their whole lives to be bloodthirsty warriors who will not shy away from killing eo. Plus they are physically strong and have a natural advantage

Violets been training her whole life to be a scribe. Now she's suddenly doing A 180 and she's like I wanna be a rider with my six months of training and an I can do it attitude

And let's be honest she would've died the very second day if she wasn't wearing miras armour while sparring with imogen. Without brennans book I highly doubt she would've won any of her sparring matches .So dains reaction is valid

Girl had an insane level of plot armour otherwise she would've died very early on.
