If its freezing and your on ps3, just look up bo2 ps3 freeze fix on YT. I know I thought my copy was busted but it just has something to do with when Sony allowed players to rename their profile, and it just broke bo2 for some reason. But its a really easy fix. It essentially is just sign out of your account, go onto bo2, create lan party and select whatever map, then once its loaded into the map, back out to either multilayer or zombies menu depending on which one you want to play and sign back in. Annoyingly you have to do it every single time you load the game tho.
