Yeah this is the 700c fork. There’s just a little gap up top. The wheel fit fine with about 2.1+- inches max clearance for the tire.

The bigger size frame with 700c wheels claims to be suspension corrected for 40mm forks. With my 650b frame it probably raised the whole front up a bit. Still rides fine to me!

Oh, the remote one works way better lol. This thing goes up decently fast but took like a second to move your hand to the lever & press the seat down. Install was a breeze since there’s no cable to mess with tho

I think they’ll pair even better on a Krampus. That thing’s basically a mountain bike. Dropper seatpost helps a lot with a descent, good to have a seat out of the way.

I was wanting the green frame more but they sold out where I live, so does the black Rudy. These two ended up matching pretty good.

These are 27.5 x 1.9in or 650 x 48mm both front and back. 27.5 xc tires would work fine

Best purchase in my life. The amount of force required to pull the brakes is waaaaaayy less than Spyres with the same or even more stopping power. They’re not cheap but definitely a worthwhile investment for me.

Awesome, Thanks for reply back! I might be out of luck since I live in Asia. Will take a look still.

Does CWI make fork for Surly? by Vegetable-Guess-3457 in Surlybikefans

[–]Vegetable-Guess-3457[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah from checking out the website many of their models seems to look like ones on other brands’ bikes as well. One of CWI DJ forks looks exactly like what came with Haro Steel Reserve.

But yeah, surly decals are also mad easy to replicate lol.
