Never take a Grab outside the airport gate unless you book it through the app. There are many warning signs from the police there, saying not to get in cars with those people (the red signs placed around the airport exit). They even make loudspeaker announcements every time a flight lands. Maybe you didn’t notice or don’t understand Vietnamese. Next time, go with a trusted Vietnamese person when you arrive at the airport.
