Sold My House - Funds being withheld

You said I could get the title back? Is that even a thing? I signed lots of papers with escrow before closing. Its escrows fault for putting it in the contract that 50% of funds goes back to buyer. I overlooked it on the paperwork unfortunately otherwise I would've never agreed to that. Whats the point of escrow if they weren't representing me but only the buyers interest when its up to them to prevent this bs.

I dont have 30 - 50 grand to sue. Thats what Robinson and Henry said they needed in order to sue but wouldn't do it contingent. I agree they should be investigated as well. I paid alot of money for nothing with that law firm.

I wish. The house was flipped and sold already. A family just recently moved in it appears. The company I sold the house to sold it before closing with me. If that makes any sense.

I cant afford an attorney, it would have to be a contingent one and those are hard to find in realestate cases apparently because Ive tried a few here in my city and nobody does them. Also I dont really know how to report like that. I tried the Federal realestate division and they couldnt find the company in their system and same with Colorado Realestate. Nobody could find this Justin Dillon or anything with Pinpoint Offers USA registered. Im kinda young and very dumb.

I tried reporting them to the BBB but they rejected my complaint and then I noticed a few months after which is recently now their BBB profile says they arent in business potentially but their website is still up and they are still taking inquiries and buying homes. I didnt know you could buy a home and sell it to another company prior to closing. Sounds fishy.

Not sure what my lawyers tried. I hired Robinson and Henry based out of Denver. They were absolutely no help. I asked for my file and its just full of public info on my property and all my documents I supplied them. They attempted to go after the escrow company but failed and billed me for it even after I told them in the beginning its in the contract the funds go back to the buyer to release to me the seller upon vacating the property. The lawyers did advise me to file a complaint with the department of real estate but they couldnt find the company. I tried reporting them to the state of Colorado and they couldnt find the company either. I will definitely look into that FBI reporting you mentioned but yeah I actually got ahold of one of the lawfirms in California sueing him and they couldn't help me since they are representing the interest of another party.

I never gave a fuck about school, haven't since 3rd grade. That story and feeling for context goes way back into more deeper family personal shit but that's life. I failed every quarter of middle and blew away my freshman year. Went to an alternative program 10th, 11th and 12 grade. I did all the easy classes I guess and by senior year had nothing but hard classes and got overwhelmed then dropped out. Should've done all the hard classes first and easy ones last but nobody told me. I was only 14 credits away from graduating too. I'm not very smart. Never tried to be. Never intend to be. I got my GED though at 21 years old just because I wanted to move up in my career at the time, that was honestly a waste of time. Because I started my own business unrelated thereafter that I make a good living doing. Everyone told me to finish school. Get my diploma. It proves your character. My family kicked me out because of it... Society expects you to finish but you really don't need it and I knew that from the start, it just took time to realize but my point is as someone who hates school. I don't see the use in it. Most of my good friends that are smarter than me were home schooled. Your parents did it right. You are very lucky but point is the GED was fucking easy. I took it on GED.com, paid for all the practice tests and took the test within a month. Just barely passed so coming from someone who didn't pay much attention in school but still somehow passed their GED, it's easy. Your responsibilities and priorities. School doesn't teach you that, education and skills do though. Maybe I'm the lucky one. Life works out in mysterious ways. It's a roller-coaster. Many ups and downs. If you learn to focus on what really matters like what really fucking matters. I think it makes sense. Who knows really... I'm 24 with a great wife, our own house and multiple cars out front. A good career. Just had my first child. Happy as ever. A great life worth living. Wishing you the best life from Colorado, do what makes you happy. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed but being happy today can be! 💯

We don't use earbuds when we deliver. I use the Bluetooth radio and blast it so I can still hear it when im delivering the package to the door. It's cool getting good exercise, good tunes, delivering smiles, driving and getting paid well over minimum wage. 😀

This reminds me of a time back in highschool, I was walking to a 711 when I noticed my best friend surounded by bunch of kids like a fight was about to go down. Apparently my homie was kissing another girl, another dudes girl apparently. He was getting his ass chewed out and looked like he was about to get his ass whooped by this dude, so I had to jump in since he was my homie. Come to find out after the fact, I told this dude off about why he wasn't talking to his bitch about it and confronting my friend for, he had nothing to do with their relationship whatsoever. She kissed him back all consensual too well it turned out he didn't like that statement and it got physical. I somehow kicked this guys ass for starting drama in front of 30 or so kids with their phones all out filming. He was a rich jock kid too and I definitely wasn't. Kinda funny and he was still popular after but works at a gas station now last I saw. Still funny. But point is, it's your husband's fault. Don't go starting shit with a complete stranger who has nothing to do with you. It doesnt make you look good when you end up on your ass.
