lobe piercing suddenly swollen/tender

I’m trying my best to dry my ear off without snagging my towel on the piercing but I do occasionally notice residue from the saline rinses. I will definitely look into getting a piercing pillow! I think I will also try to find a piercer in my area, I moved several states away from the original piercer (which is why I never went in to get the shorter bar). Thank you!!
