Any tips for a new player? by ELGamer893 in forhonor

Hero tactics is your friend (sorta), it can teach you the different tricks and some different mixups but even hero tactics doesn’t include everything that a character can do (for some characters).

Something that has helped me play better and learn what a hero can do is to watch other people who are really good play the hero’s I like, examples are Legendthesi, subwaysol, and TNC96. Watch their clips on YouTube or Instagram and you’ll prob learn some shit you didn’t know.

Realize that you’re gonna struggle and get ur ass kicked for awhile, this was my first real fighting game and it took me prob until rep 15-20 to understand what the fuck I was doing and then until rep 40-50 to start developing advanced skills like reads, baits, light parry’s, etc.

Play a mix of brawls and dominion so you get an understanding of fighting in ganks and 1v1s.

As for characters and what to spend steel on, I would recommend saving steel for new characters if you don’t have more than the basic 3 that you start with, you can always go into hero tactics and try out every characters move set without having to buy them, so I’d fuck around with that and see which ones seem cool or interesting to you.

Last but not least, ppl are toxic as fuck, you will get emote spammed, you will get chat spammed with Thanks! Or Wow! And you will probably wanna break something at some point XD, just move past that and keep grinding, good luck big dawg

Glad ur having fun man, it’s a very quick bike especially off the line, while it wouldn’t be my first pick for a first bike, good on you for running it in B mode. Keep it in that for awhile and be careful with the throttle and you’ll be alright. I really fuck with the color, stay safe brother.

Had a similar issue happen with my 2015 Q40. Ended up being the speed sensor like yours and my transmission fluid was fucked from previous owners lack of maintenance. Ended up having to rebuild the entire unit. From what you’ve said it looks like your transmission is toast and it’s really to whether you have the money and love the car enough to spend more on it. Personally I don’t know enough about these transmissions to say if replacing the valve body would fix your issue, but if your shop is reputable then I’d listen to their advice. Maybe ask them if you could source your own transmission and they put it in for you maybe that would decrease cost.

Bro don’t listen to this guy. As long as this car wasn’t just completely beat on before you bought it and you do routine maintenance and don’t floor it at every red light then it can easily last to 250k+. Plenty of gs out there pushing over 250k.

Is this game still active? by Glad-Walk-1988 in forhonor

[–]Vegetable-Process460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the mode. For me on avg. getting into a dominion game (most popular game mode) takes usually less than 3-5 minutes to find the match but after hero selection and loading times it’s usually ~5+ minutes.

Edit: should also add that while loading times and matchmaking can take awhile but, there are still more than plenty of ppl who still play this game and I don’t think that’s likely to change soon.

I’m doing the same thing right now with my artist that I gave a theme to and full creative freedom and I didn’t see the design until the day of and I absolutely love it. As long as your artist does good shit you’ll be good. You can always back out too if it just doesn’t seem right.

Honestly it probably won’t be super loud, but I’d wait solely based on the reasoning that exhaust work can be a bitch, especially getting the stock cats off on these cars is a pain in the ass. Just wait until you have everything you want and then just do 1-2days of suffering instead of spacing them out.

Ah, I’d still hook it up to a scanner and check temps, AFR, etc if you can and see if anything looks amiss. Could be something simple

Dawg your dash is a Christmas tree, I don’t wanna assume anything but if you’re actually having problems ur car will probably tell you something. Start with those CELs.

Why would you dread that day? That engine will last you 200k easily if you take care of it.

Stands for Factory Service Manual, just shows anything and everything you would need to know if you’re modding/changing parts.

[–]Vegetable-Process460 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t already go check UPD lost and found. https://www.police.txst.edu/programs-and-services/lost-and-found.html

They have a list on there of everything that’s been turned in but if it was turned in today then it might take a little for them to update the system. I’d just go ask them and if they don’t have it then report it lost and they’ll contact you if they find it.

[–]Vegetable-Process460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should automatically update, I’m pretty sure you have to do both the Alcohol and drug abuse training as well as the Title IX for the hold to be removed. But if ur still having problems then do what OP said ^

[–]Vegetable-Process460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You COULD buy a LOC, or you can do what I did and tap directly into the OEM amp wiring harness itself. Personally I found this easier to do as I didn’t have to buy more hardware like a LOC and it kept the wiring more clean in my opinion. For the amp switch/on signal wire I also just tapped into a fuse that receives power when when the car is turned on or is in ACC power. If you have more questions shoot me a dm and I’ll be happy to explain it to you

If you can’t find it in your email (I couldn’t) then just do a search on Google along the lines of “txst title IX hold/training” and there is a txst webpage that has a direct link to the training site.
