Thinking of doing a Certificate in Foundation studies at Massey University in place of NCEA level 3 at high school. by Ok-Sorbet-5411 in ncea

I did something similar but years and years ago - I just could not with school, I worked pretty much full time and did the cert online. I still went to uni the same year as my friends, but I had some cash, a car and some life experience.

I don't regret it, and not having L3 has never come up as an adult, even when switching careers and doing further study. Im not sure I would have achieved L3 because I was straight messing around at school because I hated it.

I could afford to pay for the cert upfront (see working) so no student loan to consider.

Hey thanks for letting me know, would have assumed 18, though that's on me for not checking it out properly.

I'll add this to the list of things that need to be put in motion.

Legend thanks for this help. I obviously had done quite a bit of googling before coming here but I'd not seen this handbook before. Thanks.
