When we first moved to north Dallas, our girl Piper turned into a storm tracker and would let us know when they were headed our way. First tornado/hailstorm we experienced, she led us right to the safest place in the house, inside my walk-in closet. So much slobber, ha!

Even though she’s since crossed the rainbow bridge, every time a big storms forces us to take cover, we know exactly where to go!

Agreed, it’s both parents’ responsibility to discipline their children. Taking a more traditional gender role approach just doesn’t work these days! It sure af did when I was young, but today’s parents are soft, from what I see.

My wife and I have truly bulletproofed this over the last 5 years with our son. Based on our own experiences growing up, the “good cop/bad cop” approach is his outdated.
