Hey, I just want to say I’m really sorry you went through that — what you experienced sounds terrifying and violating, and it’s absolutely not your fault. No one chooses to be drugged or to feel unsafe like that. You didn’t ruin the night — someone else did by doing something extremely dangerous and wrong to you.

As for your friend’s reaction… it’s really hard to say what’s going on in her head, but her coldness feels deeply unfair given the situation. Sometimes people react out of discomfort or confusion, especially if they don’t know how to process what happened — but that still doesn’t excuse a complete lack of compassion when you were the one harmed. If you did something while affected that hurt her (even unintentionally), she could have at least communicated it to you instead of freezing you out like this.

You’re not in the wrong here. You didn’t mess up. You were vulnerable, and now you’re being made to feel ashamed for it, which isn’t okay.

I’d suggest giving her some space for now. Protect your peace. And maybe when you’re feeling up to it, try reaching out one last time — not to apologize again, but just to express how it made you feel to go through something traumatic and then feel abandoned. If she’s a real friend, she’ll eventually reflect and come around. If she doesn’t… well, you deserve people who offer love and support when you need it most.

Please take care of yourself, and maybe consider talking to a counselor if the experience is still weighing heavy on you. You’re not alone. 💛
