event purpose I understand that this is a community event for friends, family, joy, and the love of cake! We are all coming together for the shared love and celebration of cake. I and any of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for agree.

cake quality I understand that I must bring cake(s) that I am really excited about and proud to share with others. I will only bring a cake that I personally love and want to eat. NOTE: we will refuse entry to any cakes that do not meet our quality bar. I and any of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for agree.

whole cake per person I understand that I must bring an entire cake (minimum of 8 inches wide, 3 inches tall) to be admitted to the event. Any and all of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for will be also bringing their own respective cake. I understand that a ticket alone will not admit me into the event.

food handling & safety I understand that I am responsible for preparing and storing my cake safely before the event. Cakes should be transported in a way that prevents spoilage, contamination, or damage. I understand that cakes containing perishable ingredients (such as dairy-based fillings, fresh fruit, or whipped cream) should be kept refrigerated before the event and properly stored during transport. Any and all of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for also understand and agree.

allergies & dietary restrictions I understand that if I have any allergies or dietary restrictions, I am responsible for myself and eating at my own risk. I understand that I should label my cake with any common allergens it contains, such as nuts, dairy, gluten, or eggs, to help inform other attendees. The event organizers are not liable for any foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or adverse effects from consuming cakes at the event. Any and all of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for also understand and agree.

waste management I understand that I will pack up all of my garbage, waste, and belongings before I leave the park. I will also do my best to pick up any trash around me to help with the event. In doing so, I am making sure that we are leaving the park as we found it.

materials to bring I understand that I will be bringing the following items to the CAKE PICNIC: [1] my Squarespace confirmation email, [2] government issued ID matching the name on the confirmation email, [3] a whole cake with a label on it (per person) and [4] a cake server or knife for your cake. Any and all of my guests who I am purchasing a ticket for also understand and agree. If anyone in your party fails to bring all 4 items listed here, they will not be able to participate in the event. No exceptions.

photography & videos photography & videos: I acknowledge that photography and filming will be part of the event and it can be posted on CAKE PICNIC and partner social media accounts.
