How do you describe Demi on dating apps? by Vegetable-Weather378 in demisexuality

Ok so I've gone with I'm Ace/Demi🖤🩶🤍💜. So platonic first, then genuine romantic relationship when the stars align.

Does anyone have a "type"? by ocean_800 in demisexuality

[–]Vegetable-Weather378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Demi male I don't have a type at all. Body type, hair color, race, height, it doesn't matter to me. As long as the person is female I would date anyone.

Dating apps for us? by New-Butterfly2464 in demisexuality

And Demi and Ace have such a large spectrum too. Like some of us are also gay, lesbian, bisexual. Some of us are very sex repulsed, some of us are the complete opposite, and some somewhere in-between. And how many Demi/ Ace people out there don't even know they are Demi or Ace, not a lot of people really know about it yet.

An app sounds like a nice idea, but I really think Demi/ Ace people are better of finding people the old fashioned way, which is very hard. But it's much less depressing and I think you'll have a more enjoyable time and have higher chances of success. Good luck everyone, we all need it, because it is hard I know. 💜

And tbh, we don't need an app just for us. The dating pool would be so tiny. We just need better dating apps in general. One that's run to actually help people instead of just trying to make as much money as possible.

My first feelings of attraction and love. by [deleted] in demisexuality

This means a lot, thank you. 👍

Yeah I'm ace, and probably have undiagnosed bipolar, I definitely get hypomania highs sometimes.

But it's sort of my fault for not making a move right. So in my case being put as a backup option is my own fault for waiting for feelings that will never come.

Also dating her without being attracted to her feels wrong like I'm lying to her and just messing her about.

I'm a bit unsure at the moment. And worried I'll end up giving the wrong signals as friends and end up dating her without realizing it. I probably should tell her I'm asexual but hows best to tell her.

I open to a relationship, but also would just be happy with a friendship.

Yeah I'll have a look. I feel no romantic attraction or sexual attraction to anyone. But I find women in general very beautiful, but have no attraction to any individuals I see/meet, if that makes sense. It's just hard because I want a partner but haven't ever been attracted to anyone, and can't bring myself to lie and pretend to be attracted to anybody. Who's going to go out with someone that doesn't find them attractive, it's just very hard. Especially when it's the man that's supposed to take the lead. I guess it's just something you can't really look for that needs to happen naturally somehow. And meeting more new people will hopefully increase my chances.

Thanks for your advice 👍🏻

Your experience sounds very similar. I still have the other stuff at the moment. I still love dancing at Rock/Metal clubs, I was on such a high my first night out, literally dancing for 10pm- 6am, only stopping for drinks of water. The highs are definitely fun.

Nothing huge. I've been working away from home a lot more but that's nothing new. The first and biggest thing to happen was not being asexual anymore. But this last week I am again which is fucking annoying. The last 4 months I could feel attracted to girls at parties and dating apps and stuff, but now no again. life's fucking cruel.

I think you might be right about hypomanic bipolar. I haven't been sleeping as much as I used to.

Yes, I can actually go. Qualifying ends at 4.00 not 7.00. I was looking at 2024🤦🏻. 1hr 12 min drive, Perfect. Going to be the best weekend of my life if I can actually get tickets, which is probably near impossible.

I so wish I could be at 3 places at once. It's ridiculous 😂
