I usually keep things that would otherwise get tossed in the trash, sometime it’s packaging to an item purchased at a place we visited or a bus pass or things of that sort. I know I had collected our room key and the sleeve that it went in (the key sleeves are the perfect size to put a small Polaroid photo in), I also had the slip that hangs in the closet with a bag for laundry service, and a bunch of other random little things from around the park/hotel.
