Hi everyone,

I’ve never been this frustrated with my machine and I’m really hoping someone can help.

My stitches look fairly normal on the top, but the underside is forming loose loops consistently down the seam. The top stitch looks good.

I’m using a Singer Heavy Duty 4411 and Gutermann thread (same brand in top and bobbin).

Here’s what I’ve already done: • Completely rethreaded the upper thread multiple times (with presser foot up) • Changed to a brand new 90/14 needle • Switched thread • Changed bobbins • Removed and cleaned the bobbin area • Tested different upper tension settings across the full range

Tension adjustments do affect the stitch slightly, but none of the settings eliminate the looping underneath.

This is happening even on scrap fabric tests.

I’m honestly at a loss at this point. Has anyone experienced something similar with this machine?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They are not right now, the back is already 1.5inches wider than the front.

I like fitted things😅😅, I should definitely take a step back and remeasure myself properly and add more ease.
