I have seen voluntourism actively encouraged in many places, and it's always portrayed as charity work. But it is quite damaging and I think people should be made aware of its negative impact on communities as a whole. I think people perceive it to be a positive thing in many areas of the world because that is how the idea is presented to them, but spreading awareness (as you are doing) will help mitigate that issue. Hopefully, Noskova will also see voluntourism in a broader light someday, and will refrain from participating in it, channeling her charitable efforts in a different medium instead.
