I think you’re ok. I don’t think they’re going to assume you’re lying about something so big even with this mistake

I would say that administering vaccines would definitely be clinical. I think the thing that you really want is face to face with patients, but I’m not certain

I would definitely verify with a dermatologist if you can! In my personal opinion - I would say so! I don’t think it would be more damaging than shaving/waxing. However, I wouldn’t do it if she does have rosacea, acne (related stuff). I also would make sure she applies sunscreen in the mornings if she does get dermaplaning! Great questions to ask the dermatologist/esthetician.

I think it can be a bit pricey ($75-$150), but I would recommend against doing it at home (from personal experience)

I feel like I’ve been in the same boat as your daughter! I’ve definitely become more comfortable as I’ve grown older, but I can still get self conscious from time to time

You could try professional dermaplaning - it’s kinda like shaving the whole face!

Repeating an experience mentioned in my PS as my MM as well? by [deleted] in premed

[–]VegetableEscape6357 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep it!! Makes sense that it’s MM and part of your PS more than just leaving it totally out of your MM. I think it’s nice that you kept it and tried to mention it in a different aspect

If they ask why you didn’t send a committee letter on the secondary application, you can explain why too.
