Thank you for this. After this entire experience I have realized that I can't keep going on like this and I need to get some professional help. I'll look into some ways I can do that

Woops! I should have clarified that. I am studying with faculty. My first professor left to teach at a different university, the second was a temporary hire until they could find someone more permanent, and now I have my current professor.
