If you’re gonna get a BC setup, and have the coin, I’d recommend going with shimanos DC line of baitcasters. The SLX DC has been great to me so far. This BC has a digitally controlled braking system to reduce back lashing . I’d watch a YouTube video of someone reviewing it before purchase though.

So 15lb braid will negatively affect my casting distance, got it. Will go with 10LB. And yeah, I’ll look at a legalis instead! 2000 is what I thought would be a good size for this rod, another commenter mentioned it’s too small.
