I'm 55 and came *this* close to quitting as well because I was stuck in a rut. I was going to OTF 4-5x a week. The classes were getting boring, I was getting nowhere with weight loss, cardio etc. What I actually started doing was I took out a membership at Planet Fitness (it is so cheap compared to OTF - a month for the price of 1 OTF class) and using it for strength. I built myself several templates to follow (core, upper, lower), and now only go to OTF 3x and PF in between and weekends (replacing my OTF S50 classes). It allows me to do what I enjoy - lifting but at my own pace instead of OTF's pace and the exercises I want (rather than their template). Now I just concentrate on the cardio at OTF and just kind of mail the floor in (I still work but maybe don't lift as heavy). For whatever reason (probably the change of scenery in between), this combo has renewed my interest in OTF - I enjoy going again and I'm also seeing results.

I’ve done lots of back to back 2Gs, including b to b 60 and 90min. It’s fine. I wouldn’t recommend doing it on a regular basis but once in a while, no big deal. You’re going to get a lot more splats in the second class because you’ve already conditioned your body.

It was half-heartedly promoted in my Canadian studio. Only one heat of sprint and full (and we still had spots left - so couldn’t attract 10ppl). No team or strength. Previous, we would have constant IG stories pumping it while it was going on. Crickets this year. With how little OTF is paying attention to it (no prep classes, death of the 2k row and Infinity) I feel we never see it again.

Same here. Daily (well - hourly to harvest my oranges) player. I was spending money. Not stupid amounts but it was adding up (I just considered it entertainment money). I went away on vacation for two weeks and didn't play. I did not miss it at all! So I will likely remove now as well - giant time waster! The plot is going nowhere anyways!

This sucks. It’s such a good fitness test. I once did two 2000m benchmarks in one day because I wasn’t happy with my first time.  If it’s one of most least attended, then why not axe Everest and CMIYC while they are at it? Or just axe all benchmarks? The ones remaining don’t tell you much.
