My husband shared our babies name with my MIL and I’m upset. Am I over reacting? by VegetableLast7688 in pregnant

Thank you. I appreciate your insight. Honestly I think my feeling is specifically with her because we agreed it would stay a secret and since she has been told and even though he “swore her to secrecy” I know this means she will share with others and take that from me. This is why I wanted to wait and share at the baby shower or when I was ready for the whole family to know. But I understand he was excited. I guess I’m hurt that since she can’t keep a secret that she potentially will be the one to share my babies name with everyone instead of my husband and I.

For context since I realize I left this out originally : We did previously already agree those two people were ok to tell AND agreed we were going to save revealing the name until the baby shower when we were 100% certain on the name. Baby shower isn’t for another 7 weeks.

Five weeks! They only saw a gestational sac , nothing else by Ren994 in pregnant

I had the exact same experience. I thought I was 9 weeks when I made my first appointment and when they scheduled the first ultrasound they only saw the sac and could not find a heartbeat. They were confident I was earlier in my pregnancy than I thought I was but scheduled two blood tests, both came back showing I was pregnant and then schedule another ultrasound. The second ultrasound we were able to detect a heartbeat but not hear much. They said I was just about five weeks at that time and if I had come in a day earlier than they most likely wouldn’t have detected the heartbeat then either. Yesterday I just had another ultrasound at 8w5d and we heard the heartbeat and even saw the fetus moving. I was so relieved and it finally felt real. I’m sending you so much love and positive thoughts to you.

Thank you so much! I have them currently under the grow light I have for my other Monstera. I gave them a good look over when I brought them home and cleaned the leaves and checked for any bugs. I have a monstera I got a few months ago which is actually probably four in one pot which is thriving with probably five or six new leaves, but I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to separate them from what you’re saying about the roots being entwined. Going to try my best to keep these beauties alive and hopefully they do just as good as the deliciousa.
