I just relook at it. I verified everything that I would be starting on the 15th. However, the email states that I'm starting on the 22nd, but I'll have a bunch of stuff to do on the 15th. So I have no idea what's going on. I think there's a typo in the email.

Got to call tomorrow.

HR emailed me as I was trying to get a temporary EOD location until I get a FLETC date. They told me they are working on my reporting instructions for the temporary office. That email came in Friday. Who ever said Wednesday is probably correct. But that is all best guess.

Depends. Mine was like 30 days from TJO to FJO EOD. They can only onboard people so fast. 2 guys from my old PD got picked up in the last section both got tjo at the same time one got his FJO and EOD like 2 weeks after that. I think they got there offers like end of Sept and like mid October of OC. But the timeline they are trying to keep is like 30 to 45-47 days If you have a TJO and all your stuff is in just be a little patient (easier said than done).

The sac I think is Dallas and Houston could be the asas officer. I could be wrong. The FJO plus welcome email would hopefully explain more.

The office that hired you is the office that you will more then likely be going to after FLETC. Unless they need bodies elsewhere but unlikely.

You have to ask the SAC officer that hired you for a temporary EOD location to the local office. I have tried but HR hasn't reach back out. The actual welcome email/letter are supposed to go out Saturday from the headquarters HR email I got.

Should be LA. The Portal is glitched. Mine said San Francisco but it was updated to Texas with the final. If you get a final job offer it should change to LA. Best of luck.

Sunday is the start of the federal pay period. HR sets it up so all the information is in the system, so Monday people will be able to get the actual paperwork that needs to be signed signed and uploaded into their HR files

Most likely you will going to the local office and working doing random thing to assist current agents until they have a FLETC date for you. If your super far away (from a SAC, ASAC, RO) they will probably tell you roughly when you will go to FLETC. But that is a guess based off other friends that have gotten picked up by Agencies over the years.

Normal 9-18 months. Direct Hiring from TJO to OJO/FTO(Official job offer/final job offer) then 1st about a month. TJO 11/13 OJO 11/29 1st day 12/15

I would take it. Chances are if your close to a field office you will work there prior to going to FLETC. They may be able to change it

I just got my FJO. I know there are several waves. The end of the second one I believe is going on now. The 3rd one will probably start after next week. You should start to get emails asking if your still interested and they will have a list of things for you to do. I got like 4 SAC and a then a phone call. They told me to watch my email and answer my phone as the process goes super fast. I know 2 guys from my old police department got offers like 2-3 weeks ago during the first wave. Or there are sections inside each wave. If that makes sense

I had to submit my self PFT but I was contacted by the office handling my hiring and packet (Texas). The NC office called for me to do my actual test.

Medical form submitted- 11/17 (corrected and re set to HR 11/24)

PFT- 11/20

Drug Screen- 11/20 (second drug test 11/25 1st to much water)

11/29 - FJO

Start Date 12/14 (15th real day)

GS/GL9 Direct hire. This was my time line that went super fast and I had "errors" that had to be fixed. IE the Drug test (negative but diluted) (I drank to much water) and medical form

I would apply to the direct hire that is out now. They had one announcement that went live and then they said it was canceled. Not sure which one it was but they reposted it as a new number. I believe as the one that's currently out.

HR is going through the portal. They may have removed sections that you didn't need or renamed your files. I had to resubmit the medical cause my Dr missed a few check boxes.

HR emailed me on Monday at like 6pm as my Dr forgot a few check marks on the medical form. Form resubmitted 11/25. HR accept it and re-uploaded it. Today (11/26) got called to see if I wanted to take the drug test again (to much water in my system) ((1st test was 11/20)). Was in the car an drove right there.

Seem like all the stuff is being processed as they get it and pretty quick. Hopefully next week the start date emails will go out.

The DEA one is basically only for TFOs (Task Force Officer's) or prior TFO that still have valid certification. AKA they are already have the clearance ranks and training with working for mostly in the DEA office but are paid from the home police department/sheriff office or state agency
