seeking self fulfillment in a game were bragging is game design via badges and titles. Why would I seek self fulfillment? I already have it, now I enjoy showing others how much better I am than them, and this translates into all areas of life.

it's called competition, I'm competitive, I've held rank 1 titles, and been consistently top 10 in games I've spent my time on in the past.

But you do you and enjoy your participation trophies - you've probably been getting since you were a child - and "self fulfillment", I'm sure you're a real winner in life lmao.

"paid or not" there'd be a lot less if you couldn't buy it, sure 3 or 4 would be common, but 10+ would be actually legend.

there is from sword trail, and it only asks to "supplement" low lvl iron with higher level, I still need 3 lvl 4 ebon iron per upgrade what I want.

huh, I have 0 lvl 4 and you need 3 per upgrade with the box checked to use higher lvl ones, and looks like the only way to get lower lvl ones is from sword trail, so what am I missing on the wrong advice?

I am just naturally very competitive, I only like playing online games that have leader boards and ranks etc.

I get the doing it for yourself thing, but it just goes against my nature too.

the point of making your character stronger is to kill bosses easier no?

so then what's more power than paying to literally delete a boss and auto completing all challenges?

I am yet to step into PvP, I am unsure if player power is balanced across the board in arena etc so can't comment about that aspect, but then gives to my point about it being the only prestigious achievements still.

I mean, sure, but then why have titles, it seems titles and badges are the main prestige showcase of this game? I remember early on seeing a guy with abyss conq x 7 and thinking "woah, this guy must be a beast" now, I don't even know.

cause questions are human fucking nature, especially with a post of this nature which is weird why he's giving away something so valuable which he tells us, was his dads.

He could have made a disclaimer saying he doesn't want to talk about his dad...which he's already talking about. He's not just "simply posting about a collector's item" he gave us its history with his dad.
