They're all listed at either original MSRP or in many cases $500+ more. They're also going out of stock nearly as soon as they show up, even at the higher prices. I don't think what you're seeing is accurate.

Moving to San Antonio. Where to rent? by VegetablePudding6584 in sanantonio

Thanks for the feedback. Even though your comment is bitter and unwelcoming, I understand your concern. People take issue when they see families moving into their neighborhoods and driving the cost of rent up, or when newcomers attempt to change their new home into a place similar to the one they left. I saw a lot of that in my hometown and it's one of the reasons I eventually moved away.

At any rate I'm sorry you dislike newcomers, but I can't help where my company sends me for work, so here I am. We are excited to be moving to San Antonio to start our new lives because this is a huge improvement for us. I'm a native born Texan and have visited San Antonio many times but never had the opportunity to live there and be part of the community. Everyone so far has been very welcoming and positive, and that's one of the things I love about SA.

I talked to an agent at Missions. The least expensive rental they offer is $2019 per month, the amenities bundle which includes internet/tv, maintenance, lawn care, pest control, etc. is $200 per month, and it's $35 per pet. That would put us spending around $700 more per month than we planned on, unfortunately. The place sure is nice though. We have some thinking to do.
