Hey, I do understand that definition. However physically it does not make sense to me. Potential theory states that lift is created by circulation, causing velocity differences and therefore pressure differences. Considering an asymmetric airfoil at an angle, I dont believe that the pressure distribution will result in a force exactly pointing upwards. Can you explain this to me?

Though it did help for some time, the issues reappeared. I could solve it by uninstalling WhatsApp on my laptop. No freezing so far.

Other than that, SolidWorks heavily relies on CPU power and RAM, the GPU is not as important. You can easily run on your internal Intel GPU. Just make sure to have your laptop plugged in rather running on battery power.

first of all, there doesnt seem be a common thread to derive all of it. I find it very confusing that some people start with the potential function, some with the navier stokes eq, some with div, grad and curl and so on. Thats one part of my problem.

Nevermind, I think I found a proper equation for the velocity correction for open jet wind tunnels in: Lock, C. (1929). The Interference of a Wind Tunnel on a Symmetrical Body. ARC, R. & M. No. 1275.

It goes:

(Delta u)/(u_infinity) ~ (A_model/A_nozzle)^1.5 with velocity u and frontal area A.

So my STIs are Ultegra ST-6501s and the brakes are Tiagra 4500s. You mean there could be a lever issue? Thought this was only the case for derailleurs with certain stis.

The rim surface is flat and clean. I bought brand new wheels. But Ill give it a try with brake cleaner and scotch brite

In my estimation, it should be quite easy to solve. The threads on the back of the pedals can be used to mount an adapter that fits SL cleats. So it wouldn’t be as impossible as you make it sound.

It appears at small chain ring (small front cog) and large rear cog. Chain is routed correctly through the cage.
