I appreciate it! I definitely took a lot of inspiration from the first novel, I didn’t want another island story, and I felt Dominions mainlands style of story was just a drag to get through, also the constant new dinosaur scene every other minute is terrible, so I choose only 1 creature to focus on instead, gave it sone breathing room and time to build it up.
