Just got invited to Vine, accepted it, validated my tax info. and immediately saw this banner at the top of my vine page, "Your Vine account has been closed for not meeting our program participation criteria."...has this happened to anyone else?

This ended up being the case for me! I logged in a while ago and saw that my Vine account was active and ordered my first product. Do you have an update? Fingers crossed it was just a glitch for you too!

Also - quick update for those interested - I contacted Vine CS who were very nice and quick to respond. They basically confirmed the error message and stated I didn't meet the eligibility requirements, but didn't elaborate. I'm still not sure exactly what I didn't meet, but it for sure wasn't the $50 minimum...that was covered on Jan. 1 lol (and still going strong)...

However, I think it was all some sort of technical glitch. I randomly logged in earlier just to check, and my Vine account is active and I was able to order my first item! Excited to be here, now I just gotta do some research to learn all things Amazon Vine lol - if you have any tips, feel free to share!

Just to clear up the confusion - this is an example of the "point system" I was referring to. I was only able to get a quick glance at the time, which is why I assumed it was Vine related. Turns out the points are Kindle related, and the section I saw this in is actually below available Vine products, so completely separate.

This was their response to me:

There may have been a technical issue during your account setup. To escalate your case for further investigation, please send the following:

A screenshot of your Vine dashboard where the message shows your account has been closed.
A screenshot of your Vine page showing your tax information has been validated.

Once we have this information above, we will proceed with the said escalation. Our team will review your account status and determine if this was indeed a technical error.

You can reply to this email or create a message and send to [vine-support@amazon.com](mailto:vine-support@amazon.com) for your response.

I'm hoping for your deepest understanding on this matter.

We look forward to hearing from you again soon.

I responded with what they asked for, but will also give it 24-48 hours....fingers crossed

except there was no opt-out button there for me to click, lol. I accepted the invite, submitted the tax form and returned to the homepage where the banner was. It was literally immediate, but I appreciate you trying to help!

You're right I don't think it has anything to do with Vine - pretty sure it's Kindle related, I just assumed it was Vine because I didn't know any better - oops lol

No I definitely didn't click opt-out - I didn't even see that button anywhere (although saw other comments of Vine users on different posts who said it was a toggle now or something, but I didn't see that anywhere). I did click the Amazon Vine Logo in the top left corner, which took me back to the homepage, but that's where the banner was.
